Raipur, May 6: With the Chhattisgarh Assembly polls round the corner, two-time Chief Minister Raman Singh will kick off his Vikas Yatra campaign from today, hoping to retain power in the 2013 polls with a hat-trick.
Veteran BJP leader L K Advani is expected to flag off the campaign from the tribal-dominated Dantewada district in the Bastar region.
"The aim of this campaign is to inform people about the achievements of this government in the last nine and half years. The yatra is scheduled to conclude at Sarguja in North Chhattisgarh where BJP president Rajnath Singh will address a public meeting on June 20," the chief minister said.
