Chennai, March 21: Within less than two days of DMK pulling out of the UPA government, the Central Bureau of Investigation early this morning swung into action and raided DMK strongman M K Stalin's residence on Cenotaph Road here.
Stalin is the son of DMK supremo Muthuvel Karunanidhi and the party's treasurer. He is considered to be the power behind Karunanidhi, and virtually forced his father to quit the UPA on the Sri Lankan Tamil genocide issue.
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had filed a case about allegedly illegal import of luxury cars in Chennai and other cities of India, and Stalin has been named in the case.
