CBI files 4 cases in UP official's murder case, Raja Bhaiya named in FIR

Allahabad, Mar 7: The Central Bureau of Investigation is sending its team to Raja Bhaiya's pocketborough Kunda tonight to record the statements of policemen and witnesses in the murders of the local Circle Officer Zia

The FIR against Raja Bhaiya mentions murder, criminal conspiracy and other charges under sections 147, 148, 506, 302 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. 



PTI adds: The Centre on Thursday handed over to CBI the probe into the killings of Pratapgarh Deputy Superintendent Police Zia-ul-Haq and two others following a request from the Uttar Pradesh government.

The name of 44-year-old former UP Minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, who has a criminal record and has been jailed in the past, figures in the FIR lodged by the slain officer's wife Parveen Azad in which he has been accused of criminal conspiracy.
