Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Thursday said she had a "positive and fruitful" meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron, who also invited her to his country.
Banerjee said there was significant scope for collaboration with the British government in various fields.
"We are deeply honoured by the visit of the British prime minister to Kolkata. I had the opportunity to meet him for the first time. I found the British prime minister very vibrant. Our discussions were very cordial, positive and fruitful. I am very happy about it," Banerjee said on a social networking site.
