Cabinet approves revocation of President's Rule in Jharkhand

New Delhi, Jul 11: The Union Cabinet today approved the revocation of President's Rule in Jharkhand, in view of  hectic preparations by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which has staked claim to form a coalition government.

New Delhi, Jul 11: The Union Cabinet today approved the revocation of President's Rule in Jharkhand, in view of  hectic preparations by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which has staked claim to form a coalition government.






The Cabinet also approved sops for Congress president Sonia Gandhi's Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency.

This include, setting up of Indira Gandhi National Women University in Rae Bareli, and upgrading Rajiv Gandhi Rastriya Uddayan Academy to Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University.

The cabinet also approved the Civil Aviation Authority to replace Directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA).

It also approved repealing of Delhi Rent Act, 1995, keeping in view the forthcoming Delhi assembly elections.
