Chandigarh, May 2: Dalbir Kaur, sister of dead Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, alleged on Thursday that Pak human rights activist Ansar Burney had demanded Rs 25 crore from her to bring Sarabjit back to India.

She said her brother would have returned, had she been able to pay Rs 25 crore to Burney.

Kaur alleged that her brother has been made a scapegoat by Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari to win elections in Pakistan.

Heartbroken Dalbir Kaur, while talking to the media said her brother is a martyr.

She stated that whenever she enquired about her brother's health from the doctors and nurses in Lahore's Jinnah hospital, they laughed at them.

She claimed that her brother had been dead even while he was in the hospital.

Pakistan murdered by brother, the hospital authorities knew he was dead, that's why they laughed and jibed at us.

Kaur urged all the parties to come together above their vested political interests and give an ‘appropriate answer' to Pakistan.

“Earlier they backstabbed former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee, now they have done the same to Manmohan Singh.”

“My brother was murdered because he was an Indian. I will go to Pakistan and get justice for him,” she added.

Unable to withhold her tears, Kaur chanted ‘Murdabad Pakistan' and said, “I am from the land of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Pakistan cannot deceive me.”
