    Delhi to face 12-hour water supply disruption today due to THIS reason | Check affected areas and advisory

    The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has announced a 12-hour water supply disruption in several parts of the national capital on Friday due to maintenance work. In a statement, the DJB said the water supply will be stopped due to the repair work, and therefore, residents of the affected areas are advised to make judicious use of water. "Due to the repair of leakage in 500 mm dia Rising Main emanating from Chandrawal Water Works inside premises of Dr Ambedkar National Memorial, Civil Lines, potable water supply from Chandrawal Water Works will remain affected for 12 hours on September 20 from 11 am onwards due to shutdown of Chandrawal Water Work,” the statement added.

    • Kamla Nagar
    • Shakti Nagar
    • Karol Bagh
    • Pahar Ganj
    • Old and New Rajinder Nagar
    • Patel Nagar (East and West)

    • Parts of cantonment areas
    • Adjoining areas under NDMC and south Delhi

    Tirupati laddu row: Following the confirmation of laboratory report on the use of substandard ingredients and animal fat in the preparation of the world-renowned Tirupati laddu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that no person involved in this irregularity will be spared and strict action will be taken against them.

    US: Biden to meet Zelenskyy next week, discuss state of war between Russia and Ukraine

    US President Joe Biden will meet Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House on September 26, the White House has said, adding that the latter will also hold a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris, who is in the race for the presidential elections scheduled this November. During the meeting, the leaders will discuss the state of war between Russia and Ukraine, including Kyiv's strategy planning and the US' support for Ukraine's defence against Russia amid the ongoing war.
