    A man here on Friday allegedly set a married woman on fire for rejecting his love and then attempted to kill himself, police said. The woman, who was married for 12 years, had some disputes with her husband and stayed at her parents' home for three months, they said.

    Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Highway to have speed limit of 120 kmph

    Maharashtra Highway Police has fixed a top speed limit of 120 km per hour for the under-construction Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Mahamarg (highway). Two-wheelers, auto rickshaws and quadricycles would not be allowed on the highway, said a notification issued on October 4.

    India and the UK are carrying out intensive discussions for a free trade agreement as both sides are keen to conclude it at the earliest, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Friday amid indication that the previously-set Diwali deadline for the ambitious deal could be difficult to meet.     Leopard falls into well in Kerala, rescued

    A leopard, which fell into a well of a house, was rescued by wildlife officials and local people through hours-long mission at Puthiyidam in this high-range district on Friday.     Police: 2 dead, 6 injured in stabbings along Las Vegas Strip

    An attacker with a large kitchen knife killed two people and wounded six others in stabbings along the Las Vegas Strip before being arrested Thursday, police said.

    Three people were hospitalized in critical condition and another three were in stable condition, according to Las Vegas police who said they began receiving 911 calls about the stabbings around 11:40 am on the north end of the Strip.
