MEMU passenger train derails in Odisha's Sambalpur
A MEMU passenger train derailed reportedly after hitting a cow near Sarala in Odisha's Sambalpur district.
"Jharsuguda-Sambalpur Memu express train got derailed after a buffalo came on the railway tracks and was trapped under the train. One coach was derailed. No injury or loss of life was reported in the incident, all passengers were reporter safe," said Sambalpur DRM Vineet Kumar Singh.

Seven students of PSG College of Technology arrested for ragging first-year student in Tamil Nadu
Seven students of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore arrested by Peelamedu Police for ragging a first-year student and tonsuring his head and demanding money from the student for consuming liquor. Four arrested for kidnapping two minor girls in Delhi
Delhi: DCP (Shahdara) Rohit Meena says, "...We received a complaint that two juveniles (minor girls) were lured and taken away. Their mother suspected that the girls were taken away for some illegal activities...We have arrested the initial accused...We have made arrests from different locations. UP: Plot to kill ashram chief unearthed, 11 held
Eleven people, who had gathered in an area here allegedly to kill the chief of an ashram, were arrested after an encounter with police personnel, police said on Wednesday. Four of the accused suffered bullet injuries. A raging fire Tuesday destroyed a massive World War II-era wooden hangar that was built to house military blimps based in Southern California, and authorities said the blaze could burn for days.
