    A man was allegedly made to rub his nose on ground & apologise in Behror after reportedly making negative remarks over 'The Kashmir Files' on social media in Alwar, Rajasthan. Workers of Bhim Army met SP & handed over a memorandum demanding arrest of accused within 24 hours.

    SP Shantanu Kumar says, "It is a serious issue. So, I came here & spoke with the locals. Circle Officer has rounded up a few people & questioning is being done. Such acts are not tolerable in a democratic country. Everyone has the right to speak their mind on social media."

    A scuffle broke out at a film theatre in Nashik after some women who arrived to watch 'The Kashmir Files', wearing saffron stoles,were allegedly made to remove the same before entering the hall. Police say "There was a brawl that later ended. It's peaceful now".

    A woman said, "The women had joined a group that was helping them watch 'The Kashmir Files'. The group had no badge or anything of that sort, so they provided them with saffron stoles for their identification as part of the group. There was nothing else behind it."

    Airline offers 17-hour flights from New York to New Zealand

    New Zealand's flagship airline said Wednesday it has started selling tickets for direct flights to and from New York, a new route that will take more than 17 hours southbound and be among the longest nonstop flights in the world. Air New Zealand had intended to start the route from Auckland to John F Kennedy International Airport in 2020 but then the pandemic hit.
    The first flights will now begin in September.

    An Air Vice Marshal from the Air Force headquarters is carrying out a detailed investigation into the accidental firing of the tactical BrahMos supersonic cruise missile which landed in Pakistan on March 9.     India reports 1,778 new Covid cases, 62 fatalities

    With 1,778 new coronavirus infections, India's total tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 4,30,12,749, while the number of active cases declined by over 800 to 23,087, according to the government data updated on Wednesday.     11 killed in fire at scrap shop in Hyderabad's Bhoiguda

    At least eleven people were killed after a fire broke out in a scrap shop in Hyderabad's Bhoiguda on Wednesday. As per Gandhi Nagar Station House Officer (SHO) Mohan Rao, out of the 12 people, one person survived. "A total of 12 members were inside the scrap shop. Bodies of 11 labourers have been shifted to Gandhi hospital," he said.
