    The national capital Saturday reported six rain-related deaths, taking to 11 the toll in the first two days since Monsoon hit the city, even as authorities said they have taken strong measures to prevent waterlogging in the coming days when heavy rains have been forecast.

    Delhi Airport Terminal 1 to be closed for repair, flight operations shifted to T2, T3: Aviation Ministry

    The Civil Aviation Ministry said," The flights scheduled for Delhi Airport Terminal 1 have been shifted to Terminal 2 and 3. Operations have started from Terminals 2 and 3 of Delhi Airport from today. After the accident at Delhi Airport Terminal 1, operations from T1 are completely closed. Now for a few more days, scheduled flights from Delhi Airport Terminal 1 will be operated from T2 and T3. It will take a few more days for Delhi Airport Terminal 1 to be completely repaired."

    Indian Navy participates in RIMPAC naval exercise

    The Indian Navy has joined the world's largest naval military wargame Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC) in Hawaii. Twenty-nine nations, 40 surface ships, three submarines, over 150 aircraft and more than 25,000 personnel are going to train and operate in and around the Hawaiian Islands during the exercise, according to the US Navy.

    Exchange of fire reported along LoC in J-K’s Poonch

    A brief exchange of fire was reported along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, official sources said on Saturday. The firing from across the border was reported on a forward Indian post in Krishna Ghati sector late Friday night, prompting retaliation by the army troops guarding the LoC, the sources said.
