In a significant decision, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami chaired a cabinet meeting where it was resolved to introduce stringent legislation preventing the formation of trusts, temples, or committees using the names of Chardham and other prominent temples in the state. The announcement was made by CM Secretary Shailesh Bagauli following the meeting held this evening in Dehradun. This move aims to safeguard the sanctity and heritage of Uttarakhand's revered religious sites.
