Mumbai, Dec 4: Some bones, prima facie of a human, were found underneath an old barrack at Arthur Road Jail here, police said today.
The bones were found six feet under the ground on November 22, when the barrack was being pulled down and its floor dug up for laying new foundation, they said.
They had been sent to laboratory for chemical analysis and a report is awaited, police added.
Discovery was made a day before the surprise visit to the prison by Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Eknath Khadse on November 23. PTI
