New Delhi: BJP in Delhi is going to set up a task force in order to monitor the work of the authorities concerned for the safety of the women in the capital.
Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel made the announcement on Monday adding the task force will monitor implementation of various steps that need to be taken in Delhi to ensure women safety.
Goel said "Safety and dignity of women are key to progress of any society and such issues are above any political consideration.
"It has been one year since the brutal rape happened and unfortunately nothing much seems to be happening at the ground level when it comes to implementation of measures required to provide safety for women in the city."
