Indore, Oct 7: BJP city wing treasurer Sunil Khandelwal was hit on the chest by a stray bullet on Thursday evening, during a shooting event during Dussehra celebration in Betma town, 35 km away from Indore.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he was initially reported to be out of danger, but late night, he succumbed to the bullet injury.
Shooting competition, horse races are some of the events held in course of Dussehra celebration here. On Thursday, the participants were shooting at a pot kept at a distance, when the mishap took place.
