A complaint has been filed in a local court on Tuesday in Bhopal for registration of a criminal case against former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Arjun Singh for allegedly releasing the then Union Carbide chief Warren Anderson in a wrong manner after the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy.

The court has listed the matter for argument on June 29.

Another private complaint was filed by Gas Peedit Mahila Udyog Sangthan's Convenor Abdul Jabbar against Moti Singh and Swaraj Puri for allegedly facilitating the safe exit of Anderson from Bhopal and demanded registration of criminal case against them.

The court will take up this complaint for argument on June 24.

After the argument, the court will decide whether the complaints are admissible for hearing or not.
