Bengaluru: The garden city of India Bengaluru is turning into a nightmare for the regular commuters who travel at a key junction in northwest part of the city.

The commuters in the silicon valley of India is facing problem as an under-construction flyover over a railway crossing on the Outer Ring Road is causing a huge traffic jam in the area.

Finally, it was a student of class III of National Public School in the city who wrote to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) about the problem. Abhinav, aged eight years, wrote in his letter how he gets struck in traffic and it takes him around 45 minutes to commute a distance of 3km from his home.

The young boy mentioned in his letter how the traffic jam is affecting "not just people's health, but also my studies", adding the project is behind schedule due to a delay in getting sanctions from the defence authorities.

The letter caught the attention in the PMO and soon it responded back to Abhinav, assuring the boy that the problem will soon be sorted out and also asked the related officials to look into the issue.
