Kolkata, Sept 2: Prominent Bengali litterateur Syed Mustafa Siraj is in a critical condition and has been admitted to a private hospital in the city.
The 82-year old novelist was admitted to the hospital on August 29 with intestine infection, family sources said.
Siraj, who has penned over 200 novels, was honoured with Sahitya Akademi in 1994 for his novel Aleek Manush.
