Shantiniketan, West Bengal, Jul 19: Despite repeated requests from Visva-Bharati university here to resume classes, the parents of the traumatised girl who was made to lick her own urine, on Wednesday got her admitted to another school, Indian Express reported.

The girl's father, Manoj Mistry, said the 10-year-old girl has got admission in Bolpur High School.

“She would not have felt comfortable to study in the Patha Bhavan School, run the by university, after that incident. She also didn't want to study there anymore,” Mistry said.

Late last week, the authorities had apologised to the Class V student's parents for the incident and had allowed the girl to attend school as a day-boarder.
