New Delhi, Dec 27: Activist Kiran Bedi tonight cut short her stay in Mumbai and returned to the national capital to take part in the Delhi leg of Team Anna's agitation for a strong Lokpal.
“I am returning to Delhi. I have done my part in Mumbai. I will take part in the Ramlila Maidan agitation tomorrow,” Bedi told PTI from Mumbai.
She said Arvind Kejriwal and other Team Anna members will stay in Mumbai for Anna Hazare's fast.
Bedi, who had gone to Mumbai yesterday, will now join lawyers Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan to lead the protest at Ramlila Maidan, where the protest did not take off well due to lack of enthusiasm from Hazare's supporters.
Hazare had earlier announced that Kejriwal and Bedi will be in Mumbai and will fast also along with him for three days in Mumbai against a “weak” Lokpal bill.
