Patiala(Punjab): Balwant Singh Rajoana, the assassin of late Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, now awaiting execution, has decided to field his sister Kamaldeep Kaur from Patiala Lok Sabha seat against Union Minister Preneet Kaur.
Kamaldeep Kaur will contest the election as an independent candidate against three-time Congress MP Preneet Kaur.
Rajoana has disclosed this in a letter sent from Patiala central jail, where he is on death row.
Rajoana, in his letter released to media by his sister, has blamed national leaders for ignoring real issues, including increasing corruption and criminalisation of politics.
