Bank Holidays August 2022: According to Reverse Bank of India (RBI), the total number of bank holidays during the month of August will be 18. According to the list, the banks will not be opened for a total of 12 days in August 2022. With weekend leaves included, the total number of bank holidays ends up reaching 18 days within August 2022.
Though this may differ from state to state and bank to bank as many of the bank holidays are regional. However, Patriot’s Day, -- a regional holiday for Imphal -- falls on August 13, which is also the 2nd Saturday of the month when banks will remain closed regardless.
