Auto fares hiked in Bangalore

Bangalore: The regional transport authority headed by deputy commissioner G C Prakash here revised auto fares on Tuesday. The  minimum fare will be Rs 25 for 1.9 kilometres and Rs 13 for each subsequent kilometre.

Bangalore: The regional transport authority headed by deputy commissioner G C Prakash here revised auto fares on Tuesday.


The  minimum fare will be Rs 25 for 1.9 kilometres and Rs 13 for each subsequent kilometre.

At present, the fare is Rs 20 for the first 1.8 kilometres and Rs 11 for subsequent kilometre. That means there is an increase of Rs 5 in minimum fare and Rs 2 for each subsequent kilometre.

The new fares will be applicable from Friday onwards.
