From: Delhi to Dankuni

Route: Faridabad-Mathura-Agra-Allahabad-Varanasi-Mughalsarai-Sasaram-Dhanbad-Durgapur-Kolkata

The Delhi-Kolkata Road is known as National Highway 2. It is one of the busiest road networks in India.

Most of the part of National Highway 2 constitutes historical Grand Trunk Road, the Asia's oldest and longest major road, along with NH 91 and NH 1.

National Highway 2 also consist Belghoria Expressway, Durgapur Expressway, Kanpur Over-Bridge and Allahabad Bypass Expressway.

It runs through the states of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.

NH2

NH 2 is the fifth longest road network in India.

It is officially listed as running over 1,465 km from Delhi to Kolkata. The kilometer counts in each of the states are Delhi (12), Haryana (74), Uttar Pradesh (752), Bihar (202), Jharkhand (190) and West Bengal (235).
