New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Odisha-based Kamyab Television and owner of Odhisa Bhaskar newspaper for allegedly siphoning off money from Artha Tatwa (AT) Group, a case registered by the agency while probing the multi-crore Saradha scam.

CMD of Kamyab TV Manoj Das and owner of Odhisa Bhaskar newspaper Madhusudan Mohanty were arrested in Bhubaneshwar after interrogation, a CBI spokesperson said on Sunday.

The CBI had questioned Mohanty twice last week for his alleged links with the group, particularly about a purported land deal with owner of the company worth Rs 65 lakh, agency sources said.

AT Group is alleged to have collected money from people. CBI has registered nearly 50 cases after the Supreme Court had asked the agency to probe the entire Saradha chit fund scam cases.
