New Delhi: The arrested SIMI suspects have link with Ranchi Module which allegedly carried out Patna blasts.
The revelations were made by highly placed source in Chattisgarh Police.
Arrested auto driver Abdul Wahid Khan (54) from Pandri area of Raipur and Umer Sidhhiqui (35) from Raja Talab were active members of the banned Student Islamic Movement of India.
Raipur police has booked them under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. Another suspected terrorist Aajijullah was also nabbed by the stste police.
Police confirmed that SIMI and IM module are present in Ambikapur, bordering Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and UP.
