Alwar, Rajasthan, July 28 : Ashok Kumar, an Army jawan posted in Leh, Kashmir, poured kerosene on his wife Kamlesh on Wednesday in Dumroli village under Behror Tehsil of Alwar district. His wife died of burns, and Ashok Kumar has absconded, police said.
Ashok Kumar was a heavy drinker and had a quarrel with his wife on Tuesday night, said Mamata, Kamlesh's sister.
He had returned home five days ago on annual leave. The couple has a three-year-old son.
DSP Lalchand Kayal said, the body has been sent for post mortem.
