New Delhi: Army Chief General Bikram Singh called on Defence Minister AK Antony today to brief him about the 15 day long Keran operations in Jammu and Kashmir.
The minister is recovering from prostate surgery in the Army Research and Referral Hospital where the meeting took place for almost an hour.
The two discussed about the loopholes in the operation carried out in the Keran sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Eight militants were killed in the operation.
The Army is also likely to order an inquiry into the operations to find out if there was any mistake committed by the troops and commanders there.
