Hyderabad, Apr 9 : Andhra Pradesh Minister for Textiles P Shankar Rao on Friday punched his personal assistant on his nose for failing to respond to his call at on official meeting at Bobbili in Vizianagaram district today.
Shankar Rao, known for his eccentric nature, called his personal assistant who was standing close-by to pick up his mobile phone as it buzzed during the official meeting.
The PA failed to respond immediately throwing the Minister into a fit of rage. As he came to pick up the mobile phone, the Minister punched the PA on his nose and shouted at him, leaving the district officials and media personnel present stunned.The PA could not utter a word as he was shocked. The Minister's intemperate act drew widespread condemnation. PTI
