New Delhi, Apr 26: Senior Congress leader and Defence Minister A K Antony will go to Chennai soon for discussions with DMK President M Karunanidhi on the coming Presidential election.
Congress sources said this would be part of the party's consultations with allies on the Presidential election.
Yesterday, Agriculture Minister and NCP leader Sharad Pawar met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and is understood to have urged her on the need for a consensus on the new President.
