Srinagar, Jul 12 : It's raining cricketers this season for Jammu and Kashmir. After Parvez Rasool was selected for the senior Indian Team recently, Shubham Khajuria, a young batsman from J&K has been selected for the Indian Under 19 team which will tour Sri Lanka soon.
Pradeep Khajuria, father of Shubham Khajuria, said Shubham has worked very hard for this and he feels that if he will keep on working hard, he would dfinitely mak it to the senior Indian team.
Shubam said, Parveez Rasool's selection has inspired many cricketers of Jammu and Kashmir, who now believe that they can also make to the highest level.
"It's good that I stood up to my parents' expectation. My parents supported me and I never thought about results. I just played well and focussed on my game", he said.
"Parvez Rasool has opened the gate for all of us. He is a motivation for all of us", said Shubham Khajuria.
