Another chit fund owner jumps to death near Kolkata

Kolkata, May 11:  Kabir Roy, a 33-year-old chairman cum Managing Director of a chit fund named Megasis Healthcare company, jumped to his death from the fourth floor flat of his building on Friday.

Roy, relatives said, could not bear the pressure from chit fund customers and the government, after the Saradha scam exploded, and investors began to ask for their money.

Megasis Healthcare   is a chit fund company located in Baguiati area in North 24 parganas.

This young MD had almost five thousand agents under him throughout West Bengal and also in few areas of Bihar and Jharkhand.

Kabir Roy is survived by his old and weak parents who are speechless in shock.

Bidhan Nagar police is investigating the reasons behind the suicide.
