Udaipur, July 31: Social activist Anna Hazare on Saturday vowed to go ahead with his hunger strike on August 16 to press for a stronger Lokpal and said he would court arrest if police intervened.
He told reporters in Rajsamund that he was determined to go on fast, come what may.
When pointed out that the government has not given permission for his hunger strike, Hazare said if police arrive he would court arrest.
To a question about the central government's decision to stop his agitation, he remarked this is "violation" of the Constitution.
Asked about yoga guru Ramdev's participation in his proposed agitation, Hazare refused to comment.
