The owner of the illfated multistoreyed house in Lalita Park near Laxmi Nagar in East delhi, Amritpal Singh has claimed that he had drawn the attention of his local MLA Delhi Minister Dr A K Walia to the accumulation of water in the basement of his building after the September rains, but Dr Walia was quick to deny the allegation as mischievous and baseless.
In a statement Dr Walia said "arrested Amritpal had no meeting with me during recent months. Hence there is no question of his informing about accumulation of water in the basement."
