Bhopal, Apr 9: The Madhya Pradesh Government will hold a grand Ambedkar Mahakumbh at Ambedkar Nagar in Mhow on April 14 to mark the birth anniversary of Babasaheb.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparations for the event at Mantralaya here yesterday, an official release said here today.
Chouhan sought information about various arrangements being made for the event and gave directions to complete work within time-limit.
It was informed at the review meeting that Rs one crore will be spent on the event even as preparations for arrangements of visitors are in full swing.
An appeal has also been made to the railway administration to run special trains on the occasion.
