Allahabad, July 20: The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday postponed the hearing on the farmers' petitions related to land acquisition in Roja-Yaqubpur village in Noida Extension till July 26.
The court was to deliver its order on the petition challenging the land acquisition today.
The fate of nearly 10,000 flats being built by eight builders in Noida Extension was expected to be decided today, but the court decided to postpone the hearing.
33 farmers had filed the petition challenging the land acquisition of nearly 485 hectares of land in Roja Yaqubpur.
Eight builders including Amrapali, Earthcon, Supertech were involved in construction of buildings in this area.
