Jorhat, Oct 11: Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command, Air Marshal S Varthaman, has urged “Air Warriors” (IAF personnel) to work hard and make the Indian Air Force the finest combat arm in the world.  




Addressing them at the Air Force station in upper Assam's Jorhat yesterday, Air Marshal Varthaman lauded the Air Warriors for their determination to safeguard the skies and for their efforts during various natural calamities.  

He also visited the different units and sections of the station and inspected the vital installations there.  

His wife Shobha Varthaman, president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), who accompanied him interacted with AFWWA members and urged them to be more interactive and learn new skills through the body's ventures.
