New Delhi: A woman cabin crew member of Air India was allegedly molested by one of her male colleagues during her stay at a hotel in Mumbai, police said on Monday.
Indira Gandhi International Airport police here has registered a 'Zero' FIR under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC in the May 25 incident and forwarded it to the Mumbai Police for further action.
The victim in her complaint to police alleged that she was molested by the male crew member when the two were staying at a hotel in Mumbai, police said.
The air hostess approached police on landing in Delhi. An FIR was filed in the case and forwarded to Andheri police station in Mumbai for further probe, they said.
Zero FIR is an FIR that can be filed in any police station irrespective of the place of incident and the same can be later transferred to the appropriate police station.
