New Delhi: A total 900 candidates are left in the fray for the Dec 4 polls to the 70-member Delhi assembly, a State Election Commission official said Tuesday.
"A total 1,195 candidates had filed their nominations, of which 295 candidates' candidatures were cancelled due to wrong documentation and ineligibility," he added.
The break up is: Bharatiya Janata Party-68, Bahujan Samajwadi Party-69, Communist Party of India-Marxist-3, Communist Party of India-10, Indian National Congress-70, Nationalist Congress Party-9, Aam Aadmi Party-75, Independent-296 and candidates from other political parties-300.
