Mumbai: A back-up dancer of Bollywood film 'ABCD2' was arrested for raping a mentally challenged minor girl way back in May this year.
The arrested accused has been identified as 20-year-old Nilesh Nirbhavane, a dancer by profession, police said.
According to police, Nilesh and two other accused had taken the 14-year-old girl to an isolated place and raped her.
The incident came to light when the victim's teacher questioned her, after noticing a stark change in her behaviour.
Nilesh was arrested by police after the girl described a distinctive feature two broken front teeth of her rapist.
Police said that Nilesh has now confessed the allegation and hunt is on to nab other two accused.
Nilesh has been booked under Sections 376D (gang-rape), 377 (unnatural offences) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC.
Nilesh had appeared in the dance film 'ABCD2' as a back-up dancer.
