"I have always loved Connaught Place, and the energy surrounding it. While there are areas that feel derelict, the buildings in contrast are very avant garde," gallery founder Sunitha Kumar Emmart told IANS.
"Our new gallery space is shockingly in tune for the time. The building was originally built at some point in the 1940s, and it was the facade that most caught my attention.
"When I first went inside with my architect, Annalisa Bellettati, and discovered this phenomenal raw but contemporary space, I knew we had found the ideal location," she added.
Works of all 13 artists will be displayed till Jan 4.
