Ranchi: About 5,000 families will get rights for one acre of land by the end of this month in Jharkhand under the Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said today.
The process of distributing land to the landless has started from November 15 when the state celebrated its 14th foundation day, Soren told reporters here.
Besides, the process of teachers' recruitment has already started and it will not only give employment to thousands of youth but also enhance the quality of education in schools, he said.
“I am eager to take the state on the development track rather than reflecting on what happened after the state's creation 13 years ago.
