3 JNU students killed as motorbike dashes against tree

New Delhi: Three students of Jawaharlal Nehru University, studying in the second year of Korean Languages, died early this morning, when their speeding bike dashed against a tree.


The mishap took place at around 2 am. The students were going out of the JNU campus, when they suddenly lost balance near the exit gate, hit a divider and dashed against a tree.

Two students died on the spot, while the third died on way to hospital.

Those who died have been identified as Ravishankar Chaudhary, Ravi Kumar and Santosh Kumar.

All the three hailed from Bihar and were studying Korean in the School of Languages.

Vasant Kunj police is investigating.
