Udhagamandalam (TN), Jan 1: In a bid to enter record books, a baker in this hilly tourist town has produced a mega home-made milk chocolate measuring 18.16 metre in length and 0.75 metre wide.
Fazloor Rahman of NSP Supermarket, who made the chocolate, told reporters here today that the existing record is 14.87 metre long and 0.75 metre wide, created by a confectionary in Italy last year.
“We have already staked our claim for an entry in the Limca Book of Records and in the process for getting listed in Guiness Book of World records, is underway,” he said.
The chocolate, on display at Hotel Charing Cross since yesterday morning, was made of 400 kgs of ingredients, inlcuding cocoa and milk. It took three days to complete the task by ten persons, Rahman said.
