The Khar police have found that at least 15 photographs from ex-model Viveka Babajee's laptop had been deleted, reports The Hindustan Times.
The police are not sure when the photographs were deleted. Forensic experts scrutinising the contents of Viveka's laptop discovered that 15 to 20 photographs had been deleted.
The police are not certain who deleted the photographs. They are also verifying her mobile phone records but have not found anything significant.
The Khar police also questioned Viveka's landlord, Pradeep Sharma, on Tuesday.
Sharma told the police that a resident of Continental building, where Viveka lived, referred Viveka to him. Sharma told the police that the agreement, made in 2009, was between him and Viveka and her ex-boyfriend, Kartik Jobanputra.
Sharma said Kartik and Viveka quarreled frequently and he often received complaints from residents about it. Sharma also told the police that the residents said Gautam Vora often visited Viveka.
“On Friday, neighbours called me and and said they suspected that Viveka had left her gas on and was not responding to the doorbell,” Sharma told the police. He said it looked like Viveka had planned to end her life. She had left the gas on and pulled out the wires of the intercom and telephone.
