Chennai: The stolen statues of Bhuddist Yakshi worth $15 million are lying unclaimed in US Warehouse.
It is suspected to be stolen from a village in Madhya Pradesh by an art thief named Shubhash Kapoor, says an independent archeologist Kirit Mankod.
Archeological Survey of India has not taken any action so far, says Mankod.
US officials are keen to return $100 million worth antiquities they seized from Kapoor.
