Dehradun: In a major reshuffle, 15 officials including 13 IAS officers were transferred today in Uttarakhand. Joint Secretary (personnel) Atar Singh said that the Principal Secretary Forest and Environment, Ranbir Singh, was given additional charge of Principal Secretary (fisheries), and M H Khan, who is Principal Secretary micro, small and medium industries, irrigation and flood control, was given additional charge of Principal Secretary (prisons).
Secretary Rural Roads and Drainage, Vinod Phoniya, was made secretary border areas development. However he will retain the charge of Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
Border Area Development department was earlier with PS Jangapangi, who has been discharged of the responsibility. Manjul Kumar Joshi, has been discharged of Sports and Youth Welfare Secretary but will retain the charge of Cooperative and Public Grievance.
The Sports and Youth Welfare department has been given Amit Kumar Negi, who is holding the charge of Secretary to Chief Minister, PWD and Finance department.
Secretary General Administration and Personnel, CMS Bisht, has been given additional charge of Rural Roads and Drainage department.
Arvind Singh Hayanki has been given additional charge of PMGSY apart from his current charge as Secretary Chief Minister. The department earlier was with Shailesh Bagoli. Harbans Singh Chugh has been made Additional Secretarym and Director Panchayati Raj.
The charge of NRHM, held by Chugh, has gone to Additional Secretary Disaster Management. Ravinath Raman has been discharged as Director General
(information).
Recently, 11 IPS officers were transferred on Oct 2 in the state in another major reshuffle.
