Hyderabad, Jun 28: A 12-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered by a teenager in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, police said today.
The girl, a student of class 7th, was returning home from school at TVNR Puram village in Palasamudra mandal last evening when the 16-year-old boy sexually assaulted her in a field before hitting her with stone, resulting in her death on the spot.
Police are searching for the accused.
