Raipur, Jun 10 : Ten security personnel were killed when Naxals today blew up an anti-land mine vehicle they were travelling, in Katikalyan area of Dantewada district.
Seven Special Police Officers (SPO) and three police jawans were among those killed on the spot.The blast was so severe that the vehicle was tossed in the air near Gatan village, police said.
As the vehicle reached a bridge near the village, Naxals triggered the blast and opened indiscriminate fire on the policemen.Three injured policemen have been rushed to a hospital in Bastar district headquarter, police said. PTI
