Elderly people continue to be soft targets of criminals in national capital Delhi. In a gruesome incident, 75-year-old Ram Kailsh Bhutani and his wife Kaushal Bhutani were found murdered today at their residence in North West Delhi’s Ashok Vihar phase-III area. Both Ram Kailsh Bhutani and his wife were retired teachers.
The neighbours were surprised to find Butani’s house locked this morning as the couple used to inform them whenever they went out of their house. The concerned neighbours informed the police and the relatives of Bhutani couple. They were shocked when they entered the house by breaking the door lock as the couple was found murdered.
While the body of Ram Kailsh Bhutani was lying on his bed, the blood-drenched body of his wife Kaushal Bhutani was lying on the floor. Their belongings were scattered all over the place.
The couple was living in the flat for a very long time. They had hired an attendant to look after Ram Kailsh Bhutani who had undergone a surgery. Prima-facie the needle of suspicion points at the same attendant. However, the truth will come out only after the police completes its investigation.
